Kashmir is the rare Himalayan destination that asks nothing of your fitness. Srinagar sits at only 1,600 m, the sightseeing is by road and boat, and the valleys — Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg — are all comfortable day trips.
Season changes the trip completely. Spring brings the tulip garden and blossom; autumn turns the chinars gold; winter puts Gulmarg under snow and opens the gondola for skiing.

We fly from Ahmedabad to Srinagar, usually with one connection. Road distance is about 1,700 km, which we do not recommend driving.
Srinagar airport is about 12 km from the city. Local travel is by vehicle, with day trips to Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg.

Last trip of Polo forest was really amazing. All arrangements were done with accuracy, schedule followed in real time. Mini water park was refreshing after trekking, guide was good, bus facilities up to the mark.
