Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan, sitting on a rocky Aravalli plateau at around 1,220 m. It stays noticeably cooler than the plains year-round, which is why it has been the region's escape for well over a century.
For us it works as an adventure destination as much as a sightseeing one — the rock around Abu is excellent for climbing and rappelling, and our camps combine trekking, caving and high-rope activities with the standard sightseeing circuit.
Best season: October to March, and July to September for green hills
By road from Ahmedabad via Palanpur and Abu Road — roughly 225 km, 4.5 to 5 hours. The final stretch is a ghat road up to the plateau.
Nearest railway station is Abu Road (about 28 km). Nearest airport is Udaipur (about 175 km) or Ahmedabad.

Last trip of Polo forest was really amazing. All arrangements were done with accuracy, schedule followed in real time. Mini water park was refreshing after trekking, guide was good, bus facilities up to the mark.
